You are hereby summoned to attend the monthly meeting of Dittisham Parish Council to be held in Dittisham Village Hall on Wednesday 4th December at 7:00p.m for the purpose of transacting the following business.

To consider any issues raised by members of the public.

Members of the public are invited to give their views, to question the Parish Council about issues on this Agenda, or to raise issues for future consideration at the discretion of the Chair.

To consider the application from the Friends of the Dart.

    1. Draft 2025/26 Budget

To receive the Report.

  1. Review of DPC Car Parks’ Tariffs

To consider a special motion to re-consider future car parks’ tariffs for Dittisham Parish Council’s Car Parks.

To consider the new information and decide future charges.

  1. Grants Received to support the purchase of the Defibrillator on The Ham

To agree to write to thank Dittisham Sailing Club, The Parish of Dittisham Charity and Devon County Council for their financial support.

  1. Planning Decisions

To note the decision made by SHDC since the November meeting.

    1. 2812/24/HHO High Standing, Rectory Lane, Dittisham, TQ6 0HD. Conditional Approval.

  2. New Planning Applications

    1. 2482/24/HHO Tunis. The Quay Dittisham TQ6 0EZ. Householder application for extension to rear of property with associated works inc demolition & rebuild of existing ancillary building.

    2. 3571/24/HHO Shearwater, Riverside Road, Dittisham TQ6 0HS. Householder application for general alterations to internal layout, driveway access, window replacement & some changes to external fenestration & detailing.

    3. Application from The Slipway Café Limited, Unit 4-5 Quayside House, Galmpton TQ5 0EH for a variation to their premises licence. The application is to extend the licensable activities outdoor to a pop-up kitchen from a container and include the seating area on a covered wooden deck as well as all picnic benches of which are in the current car park adjacent to The Slipway Café location.

  3. Consultation – Remote Meetings

To consider a response to the current government consultation on remote meetings and proxy voting.

To consider ceasing to contribute to the subscription.

  1. Dittisham Community Group to purchase The Red Lion Inn

To respond to questions from the Group about DPC’s involvement & integration with the community.

To confirm the next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on January 15th 2025 at 7:00 pm.

  1. Closure of the Meeting

To consider passing a resolution in accordance with the 1960 Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act to exclude the public and press during consideration of the following item(s) because of the commercial-in-confidence or legal nature of the business.

  1. Grounds Maintenance Contract

To consider the proposal to take up the option to extend the contract for three years to 31 December 2027.

  1. Ham Lane Hedge Maintenance

To consider a special motion to re-consider the quote accepted by the November meeting.

To consider the proposal to accept the revised quote for works early 2024.

  1. Quotes for recommended work to re-pollard the Willow on The Ham

To consider the quotes received.

  1. Management of a Freehold Title

To consider DPC’s next actions to meet its responsibilities as the owner of the freehold.
