Who We Are

Dittisham Parish Council is a local authority, the first tier of local government. It is made up of representatives from within the Parish who are nominated and voted in by the people of the Parish. The Parish Council works to support the local community, environment, and local economy.

There are nine Parish Councillors, whose work is supported by a part-time Parish Clerk. The Council meets in the Village Hall on the first Wednesday of each month but will only meet in August if it needs an extraordinary meeting. The meetings are attended by your South Hams District Councillor and Devon County Councillor.
