St. George’s Church
St. George’s is a worshipping and caring church that sits in the centre of Dittisham and serves the Creator, the people of Dittisham and its visitors.
St George’s Church has re-opened for private prayer. It is open every day from 10 am to 4 pm.The front couple of rows of pews and the Lady Chapel are available for those who wish to sit and have some quiet time.
Hand sanitizer is available: both in the porch and also inside the church.
Obviously strict social distancing guidelines must be followed.
It has been necessary to cordon off much of the interior.
The Church has had a good clean, and pews and handles have been disinfected in preparation.
Areas that may have been touched will be sanitised at the end of each day.
In line with the new restrictions public worship is suspended at the present time.
The Churches hope to stream a Eucharist online on Sundays during this period, available from 11.00am.
Resources for joining in worship at home are available on our web site www.dartmouthanddittisham.co.uk and in St Saviour’s church.
