My aim as a Parish Councillor is to try to do Good for our community. We have some great people on the team and, like me, they volunteer their time for no personal benefit, other than knowing that they are trying to do something helpful. In my free time I like to go surfing and love to watch the sun rise whilst bobbing about at sea.

I joined the parish council as there was a shortage of volunteers due to the aging population and was also interested in how local government worked. I think I have explored all the nooks and crannies of the parish as a child and have now rediscovered them as a Parish Councillor over the last 5 years.
