You are hereby summoned to attend the monthly meeting of Dittisham Parish Council in Dittisham Village Hall on Wednesday 7 September 2022 at 7:00p.m for the purpose of transacting the following business.

  1. New tree applications
    • 2734/22/TCA St Annes Manor Street Dittisham TQ6 0EX. T0073: Magnolia tree – Crown reduction from existing height to 4.5 metres & Crown lift to 2 metres above ground to reduce spread to keep tree in proportion and to manage the size of tree in small garden
    • 2773/22/TCA Mulberry House DittishamTQ6 0ER. T2: Sycamore – Pollard tree leaving stem 4m from ground level, to maintain as a smaller canopy and less of a presence on the house below; T3: Mulberry – Crown lift to approx 2m from ground level, sympathetic crown reduction by up to 1m on patio/house side to shape and improve form; T4: Oak – Crown reduction on all sides by up to 1-2mto manage re-growth and improve form; T5 Cherry – Crown reduction by up to 2m to improve canopy form; T:10 Leyland Cypress – to be felled to ground, completely overpowering area, more suitable specimen to be re-planted.

  • Personnel Committee.
  • To consider a special resolution change the decision of the May meeting to create a combined HR and Finance Committee. The alternative proposed is for the 7 September meeting of DPC to create a Personnel Committee and for there to be a separate Finance Working Group, or possibly in the future a Finance Committee.
  • To agree the creation of a Personnel Committee and Subcommittee and the Terms of Reference.

To consider the proposed alteration to Maintenance Contract Specifications for maintenance of Ham Triangle.

  • Cancelled Dart 10K 2022 – To consider whether to refund the payments for Hire of The Ham.

To note the Report and agree any action required.

  • Defibrillators

To confirm defibrillator and CPR Training 19th October 7pm in the Village Hall.

To consider a project to install defibrillators at Capton and at The Ham.

  • Parish Lengthsman – To agree whether to advertise the vacancy and to agree the timings.
  • Request for a Memorial Bench on The Ham or on the foreshore where previous bench was located.
